I'm getting married in July 2008. Me and my girlfriend lived together for 2 years, and my move to Spain next year. Before we left, we sell everything we have and start from scratch in Ireland. For these reasons, we do not need gifts, but to understand that instead of money. This helps us more gifts. How can I make it seem in the invitation without greedy? Everyone is correct, but it is a way!
Ask your wedding, parents and close friends spread the word that you have a green wedding - which means that the people want instead of gifts, instead of cash. He did it.
The worst scenario is that some people brought gifts to the royal wedding - you can always come for the money. :)
